Sliced Beef


There are some things even the most dedicated home cook shouldn’t waste time on. Cutting paper-thin slivers of meat is one of those things. Use our pre-sliced beef for homemade beef jerky or to top a bowl of pho. These thin slices are great for marinating, but our dry-aging process deems it unnecessary. Sliced 1/16 of an inch thick.

Our sliced beef comes from the eye of round, which is located in the upper hindquarters. We freeze it then slice it very thin on a slicer. We use this method to make a generally tough cut much more tender by shortening the muscle fibers. Sliced meat is great for many applications such as jerky, pho, or even a Philly cheesesteak.

Follow your dehydrator’s instructions for homemade jerky, add some raw slices to a bowl of hot pho, or marinate and sear for bulgogi or cheesesteaks.
