There are some things even the most dedicated home cook shouldn’t waste time on —like cutting paper-thin slivers of meat. Use our pre-sliced beef for homemade beef jerky, Philly cheesesteaks, or to top a bowl of pho. While already flavorful and tender thanks to the two week dry aging period, these slices are great for marinating. Sliced 1/16 of an inch thick.
Our Sliced Beef comes from the Eye of Round, which is located in the upper hindquarters. We freeze it then slice it very thin on a deli slicer. We use this method to make a generally tough cut much more tender by shortening the muscle fibers.
Follow your dehydrator’s instructions for homemade jerky, add some raw slices to a bowl of hot pho, or marinate and sear for bulgogi or cheesesteaks.
