Ground Lamb is a great way to introduce new folks to the lamb game.
This Easter, we’ve partnered with Freedom Run Farm based in Kentucky. Their Appalachian heritage sheep are 100% pasture-raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and finished with a proprietary blend of high-quality roughage, minerals, select grain and distiller’s stillage, for the optimal health of the animal. This also results in a well-marbled, tender cut, with a milder (and less gamy) flavor.

This Ground Lamb is made with carefully selected trim from the entire lamb, creating a juicy, delicious meat to fat ratio.

Cooking Notes
Ground lamb is very versatile. Pre-heat some oil in a pan until it’s nice and hot. Add the meat to hot pan and use a stiff spatula to break down the meat. Let meat cook for 7-10 minutes.
