Ground lamb is a great way to introduce new folks to the lamb game. Some people are apprehensive about lamb because in this country we don’t consume it as often as beef, pork or chicken. But we’re here to change that. Our Lamb develops a great mild flavor because we feed them a mixture of non-GMO grain and a diet of unlimited grass. This lifestyle creates a tender meat resulting in a delicious, much milder (and less gamy) flavor that’s perfect for shepherd’s pie, or anything else you usually enjoy with ground meat.
Our ground lamb is made with carefully selected trim from the entire lamb. We only put trimmed lean meat and back fat into our meat, making sure to trim out all the undesirable bits creating a juicy, delicious meat to fat ratio.
Ground lamb is very versatile. Pre-heat some oil in a pan until it’s nice and hot. Add the meat to hot pan and use a stiff spatula to break down the meat. Let meat cook for 7-10 minutes.
