We love offering cuts to our customers that you can’t find at the grocery store, and this cut may just take the cake. So if you’re feeling adventurous, use this pasture-raised Beef Tongue to make traditional lingua tacos, or brine to make homemade corned beef or pastrami. This cut is lean, flavorful, and starts tough, but is a whole lot of fun to experiment with.
This cut consists of the tongue from our pasture-raised beef. The tongue is a large muscle, so this cut is lean and needs to be braised, brined, or sliced super thin to be truly enjoyed.
We love using this cut to make corned beef for sandwiches and hash. Check out our Beef Tongue Corned Beef blog to learn how to brine and cook this cut.
Not just a piece of meat
Great flavor starts in the field. At Porter Road, we partner with farmers who raise their animals on pasture, for a difference you can taste.Learn more about our process
