Beer-Braised Brats with a side of more beer? That's a good day.
We use natural casings for all of our sausages, so warming them slowly in braising liquid, or on the grill off of the direct heat, helps prevent splitting. For this recipe we used a Pale Ale from one of our our favorite local breweries, Yazoo Brewing Company, to impart some extra flavor in our already delicious links.
Beer-Braised Bratwurst

Step 2
Add Bratwursts and lower to a simmer.
